Speaking of pets ...

While there are rarely dogs running around the park, I do see quite a few cats.

Technically, it's just as illegal and just as wrong for cats to be allowed to run around. I suppose it's tolerated because cats on the loose are far less obnoxious than are dogs. I mean, I love dogs, but I don't love your dog. Your dog is a pain in the ass.

Other people's cats, however are cool, 'cause it doesn't get into my garbage, dig up my pants or leave huge piles on my lawn.

And I really need a cat. I mean, I've wanted a cat, but been too bust and too cash poor to carry myself over to PAWS on Northeast Perry in Peoria and get a cat ... legally.

But with winter coming the field mice have found it too easy to get inside my trailer. I need a cat -- not a kitten -- that will stalk and kill this fuzzy little vermin. Ivan tries his best, but he's too big follow he behind furniture, etc.

So if anyone reading this is cat rich, I happen to be cat poor and will take a good mouser with a good disposition off your hands and give him a good home. Ivan grew up around cats and will no doubt welcome the company.
